one hundred-and-eleven days down, two hundred-and-fifty-five to go

When I started this blog, I actually did intend to write from time to time, but I’m afraid it’s become a photo blog more than anything, as I’ve been really super busy these last few months.

But now that I’ve got one major project out of the way and I have a bit more time on my hands, it seems like a good time to pause and reflect on this silly photo project I’ve been working on this year.

I suppose day one hundred would have been a good time to reflect, but day one hundred-and-eleven seems like a good place as well.

I’m going to attempt to take at least one photo every day for the next year.

Here’s the first photo, taken as I was heading up the stairs towards the exit at Bay Street station in Toronto. I was heading to Flo’s diner to meet my good friend Jen for brunch.

I was struck by the way BAY looked from behind the sign. Normally you wouldn’t be able to stop and look for fear of getting trampled, but today being New Year’s Day, I was the only one in the stairwell, and able to stop long enough to get this shot.
